High purity technical grade Boric Acid Granules, supplied in a convenient low-dust granular form. Boric acid is a critical component in nickel electroplating baths – most notably the standard Watts formulation, where it acts as a primary pH buffer to maintain bath stability and prevent localized hydroxide precipitation near the cathode.
Using the granular form helps minimize dust clouding during weighing and bath make-up while dissolving smoothly in a warm water to establish reliable buffering capacity.
